I'm sure that they graced the table of the baby and wedding showers and the family holidays throughout my life including Christmas and birthdays. They saw us through weddings and graduations and everything in between. Now, in my golden years they grace the tables of grandkids parties, friends funerals and my own kitchen when some days I just don't have the energy to wash dishes. They are sturdy so there is no fear of any type of dessert causing the plate to collapse and making a mess on the floor or carpet. The classic white color is a perfect match for desserts of any color.

Its an added bonus that it is eco friendly. Makes me feel a little bit better about taking the easy way out of clean up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chinet’s Classic White Appetizer/Dessert plates are the perfect size for desserts and appetizers, but they are also the perfect size for toddlers and small children! I love to use these plates for lunches at home or on the go for the kids. Regular size paper plates are too big for little ones. They usually also think it’s great to have their own little plate. I also like this size for quick toast in the morning. The Classic white color works well for desserts where you want the color or the dessert to “pop” against the whiteness of the plate. Out of all of their sizes, these are probably our favorite in the house. Great for when you don’t need a regular size plate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used a whole set of Chinet plates/bowls/platter for a large cookout last night and couldn't be more pleased! No leakage from grease or butter soaking thru the pieces! I love the fact that they are biodegradable and compostable. The pieces are all tough and hold a lot of food. We stacked a huge pile of crawfish on the platters and plates and they held up very well since they are thick. No tears! Thank you Chinet!

The size is perfect for any snack that I serve, and I mean 'any' snack - from fruit slices to toast. They look good on the table, can handle even heavier food items, and saves me from washing a boatload of dishes.
