They don't get floppy. They stay solid and keep the food on your plate where it is supposed to be. The ridges are at the perfect height to keep my foods separate. Way to go Chinet!

They are very strong and hold up to the heaviest, juiciest and messiness foods you can think of. You never have to worry about your plate getting soggy or collapsing in your hand as you carry it. It just doesn't happen when using Chinet brand. I can't say enough about their products. They're amazing! I recommend them highly for everyday use, holiday meals, barbecues at the park and more!

They do not get weak...thank goodness with the children and EVERYONE gets to separate their gravy from their cranberries! Could seem like a small thing to some but separating your jello from your veggies is just something that is mandatory!! Have used these plates for 50 years!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally purchase a different brand of paper plates. However, for Thanksgiving I opted for Chinet Classic Compartment plates. I'm so glad I did. Not only did they hold up to the weight of all the fixings, they didn't leak through. I also like that it has different compartments for those picky family members that don't like their foods touching each other. I will definitely continue to purchase these.

But I felt guilty getting them because the are alot more expensive, non compostable, and so thick that they do not break down fast. I wish that they would come up with an environmentally safe plate that also did not cost more. They are way to expensive now as it is.
