You are able to use this in the microwave at least I did for a minute and a half with no problem. As platters though I did like these I just wish they would have been a little bit more sturdier.

I was reluctant at first to use paper plates for the holiday dinner. But these worked out very well. I will definitely be using these elegant, classic, sturdy platters for all my holiday parties. Save having to wash a bunch of dishes and they work absolutely great!

I have tried others and they are no match for many reasons. The look, the strength and stands up to any foods and sauces. I will never trust another plate!!

One of the things I especially liked was that the grease from the burgers soaked into the platter but not through the platter. There were no little grease puddles laying around the meat. The Chinet Platter was thick enough that it could hold a good bunch of burgers and still stay sturdy while carrying it. I definitely will be using these platters again!!
