They are sturdy, the shape and generous size of the platter is most conducive to loading up on all the goodies at the buffet, and best of all no clean up!

I just bought the large plates and bowls to keep at work because they are heavier and said 'microwave safe'. Today is the first day I used them (the bowls) and I warmed up leftover turkey. I had not even gotten it out of the microwave and the bottom was completely soaked through. When I put it on my desk the bottom split apart and I lost part of my lunch. I ate some of the turkey but I feel like I've eaten some of whatever these bowls are made of and I won't use them again. It says microwave safe, are these defective?

Very durable and wide enough to get much on the plate with out spilling. Use these any time we have big gatherings esp. around the holidays. Nice enough to even use at wedding preconception. I recommend these and still and will continue to buy.

They can get a bit soggy on the bottom if you overload them with hot/wet food, but they are perfect for backyard BBQs or Thanksgiving with minimal clean up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Chinet classic white platters 24 count for my family. They are ok. I don’t care for the feel of them. You can’t put a lot on the plates or they get flimsy. Not able to microwave them. I would not buy again.
