Not only are the sturdy but the style is the most appropriate hands down. Love the dessert plates too. No other plates can compare. I already have my Chinet plates ready for Christmas.

They are convenient, strong, durable and most of all easy to use and then toss in the garbage. My families choice for their lunch and dinner plates hands down.

I just bought the large plates and bowls to keep at work because they are heavier and said 'microwave safe'. Today is the first day I used them (the bowls) and I warmed up leftover turkey. I had not even gotten it out of the microwave and the bottom was completely soaked through. When I put it on my desk the bottom split apart and I lost part of my lunch. I ate some of the turkey but I feel like I've eaten some of whatever these bowls are made of and I won't use them again. It says microwave safe, are these defective?

My husband cooks a massive amount of pork chops, chicken leg quarters, sausage, rice dressing, potato salad, baked beans and garlic bread. You don’t have to worry about leakage or bending. The size is just crazy. This is the ideal plate for thanksgiving and/or Christmas. You can fit everything on it. I highly recommend them.
