Really like these! Heavy duty, great size for an entire meal, especially ribs, corn-on-the cob, or for pot-luck's and banquets/get-togethers. Meal including salad & condiments all on one plate. VERY glad Sam's stocks them, as apparently some retailers think these are "summer only" merchandise. Really?? Sorry, but I prefer to eat all year around, thank you very much!

I absolutely love these plates. I first purchased them for a family reunion. They were sturdy enough to hold up to the mounds of food that was piled on them. Now they are a staple in my house. My 23 yr old son hates to do dishes but he loves to eat so we keep them around.

Slightly more expensive than the store brand variety, but well worth the small amount that you pay extra. Strong, large, and reliable. Great for family get togethers unless you are trying to stretch a small amount of food as these are large platter style plates that people will overfill!

We tested a couple different styles of plates because we wanted strong/durable, leak-resistant, economical one's we could use at our company's employee luncheons several times a year. We tested by putting squirts of and smearing ketchup, mustard, bbq sauce and one other item (forgot what it was) on the plates for over 10 hrs, and this plate held up the best! We added some other foods for weight the next day b/c our luncheons would include everything from burgers/dogs, paninis, tacos, ribs and bbqs, to pastas, side dishes and deserts) and this plate still came out on top - it did not bend or disintegrate. It did have moisture rings around the edges of the sauces and under the plate (to be expected for a paper product), but it wasn't leaking sauce through the bottom. Product has worked very well for 16 cents/plate.
