I absolutely love these plates. I first purchased them for a family reunion. They were sturdy enough to hold up to the mounds of food that was piled on them. Now they are a staple in my house. My 23 yr old son hates to do dishes but he loves to eat so we keep them around.

These are strong and great for plates when having a big dinner. Plenty of room for everything. I have given up on regular plates as people just had to use two. I started putting a few of these out last year and everyone went for them first. So this year it is ALL that I am using except for dessert.

I have purchased these two consecutive years for a large potluck dinner at my kids local HA -holds heaps of food- no buckles or leaks or drips or slide offs . We set up tables and used this solid white plate with scrap book paper and wrapped beri plastic ware and paper placemats. They were strong and still dressed things up a bit despite the fact they were paper plates paper

I love providing and using the Chinet platters for guests when I'm serving buffet-style and people are carrying their food through the house or out onto the patio. They're sturdy, keep food in place, and the rim helps to avoid drips. The only disadvantage is if you're serving something that's too juicy or if meat requires cutting with a sharp knife, like steak. I choose my china or hard plastic for those occasions.

We are having a family reunion which will include 80+ people. We needed at least 100 good size throw away plates. After researching, we felt that the Chinet Classic Platter plates were a perfect choice. Of course our first choice was Sam’s Club. We placed our order & 2 days later we had our plates. Really like these! Heavy duty, great size for an entire meal, especially ribs, corn-on-the cob, or for pot-luck's and banquets/get-togethers. Meal including salad & condiments all on one plate. VERY glad Sam's stocks them, as apparently some retailers think these are "summer only" merchandise. Really?? Sorry, but I prefer to eat all year around, thank you very much!

Slightly more expensive than the store brand variety, but well worth the small amount that you pay extra. Strong, large, and reliable. Great for family get togethers unless you are trying to stretch a small amount of food as these are large platter style plates that people will overfill!

These are nice size and sturdy plates. They are perfect for parties with finger foods. There is plenty of space for all different foods. I use them when making subs because they are long enough for the sub plus some chips or fries or salad etc. They are definitely better for dry foods and very wet foods like spaghetti and sauce.

I love keeping a package of Chinet Platters on hand. They are great as toss away small serving platters, but they are also great to pass out as paper plates for big gatherings and easy clean-up. They are sturdy and hold a variety of foods without them being piled on top of one another.
