These are strong just like they always have been you can almost put soup in them and they won't bend or break. I can't wait to use them we are very fond of using paper plates and these will do a lot better and save a lot of mess as far as my kids go.

It was great because a smaller plate from my cupboard would fit on this and he was able to hold your plate eat out of the smaller plate and if anything spilled it would land in the Chinet plate it was a very strong plate but it wasn't breakable and that made everything safe.
