Bought these in July and have used them twice, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We noticed on both occasion that the plates got very soggy and soft. We served a beef tenderloin on Christmas and noticed that we had several plates soak through and leave a mark on the Irish linen heirloom tablecloth. My wide and I have spent most of the day trying to remove the stains. I would hate to have to replace the tablecloth because these plates allowed the juices of the meat to soak through. Very angey and dissatisfied.

Oh my, I just bought these and we used them tonight for dinner, which was homemade quiche with maple cinnamon bread and butter, and the plates leaked right through! ! ! We love the oblong paper plates and use them for cooked meals to make for an easy cleanup but unfortunately these just didn’t hold up. We won’t be buying these anymore for our hot meals.
