After replacing the 3rd set just to watch them be broken within weeks, I got fed up and got Chinet. I am so happy I did and immediately regretted not doing it sooner! The plates hold up beautifully and every time they hit the floor, I don't have to cringe while waiting for the sound of broken glass. Thank you Chinet for such a great product.

The platter size is perfect for a bigger special occasion meal where you will have more food, or for a potluck where you want to try a little of everything! The platter is nice and strong and will hold up well to the extra food placed on it. My husband used one for a big steak and baked potato. The plate didn’t bend and stayed whole even when using a knife to cut his steak. These plates are durable and strong for your party needs!!

I love the fact I did not have to worry about my guests ending up with a soggy plate or a bending plate or feeling like they are eating off paper. Secondly, they are classic white so they felt more "fancy" and timeless than a plate that has a printed pattern on them. Lastly, the sizing was spot on for dinner and my guests had plenty of room to fill their plates. I definitely feel the price is right for what you receive. Definitely would recommend!

I don't worry that someone will overload their plate and the plate will collapse. I had a couple of 'other brand' platters left over from another gathering and set those out as well. Thank goodness the person who got the non-Chinet platter had the accident at the table instead of while walking through my house. We had no problem at all with Chinet, and now always look for it when purchasing disposable dinnerware.
