This year was the same. I love these platters because they hold so much food and you don't have to go back for seconds.

I typically use these when we have BBQs or events where we have lots of sides and you need something larger than a standard plate. They are also the perfect size for balancing on your lap! Also the size makes them perfect for potlucks and such were people are putting multiple things on their plate. The hold up so well! Definitely not flimsy at all.

They are leakproof. I ate many saucy pasta salads and it never soaked throw the plate. I will forever buy Chinet products!

Again, i work full time and am tired by end of day. I dont want to wash dishes. Why a luxury? I use Chinet so that the plate does not leak or tear or become soggy. Other companies do have those issues. I dont want to use an inferior plate and then have to wash the floor when the food spills off the plate. Thank you for your high quality product!
