Not sturdy and they Leak!

I bought this one month ago, it was a splurge. Chinet use to be a quality, high end paper plate. I was shocked to see the quality standard and how far they have falllen. What happened to no leak, and sturdy? These are not cheap to buy, even my husband noticed how bad they were and mentioned it to me. These leaked thru almost every hot meal we made, we used 2 plates just to make them sturdy. And the entire stack of plates have some sort of permanent dent in the plate, you can really tell a big difference from the Logo and the quality of the Chinet dinner plates. I would add pictures if this site would let me! If you are expecting the quality of the past, do not buy, these are cheaply made now.

Smells horrible and noticeably off-color

Ordered on 4/6/2020 & recieved shortly after. After putting a stack of these in the cupboard, evey time we'd open the cupboard door there was an awful chemical smell. When I grabbed one of these plates to use it, the center section, where the food goes, was slightly tan in color; the bottoms were sililarly colored. I took several more plates from the big package and they were all the same. I had to put the entire $18 worth of them into the recycling bin outside because the smell had spread to the entire kitchen and pantry.

Quality changed!!

I have purchased this particular Chinet plate for years from Sam’s Club and never had a problem. Ordered a new pack this past week and the quality is certainly lacking. It leaks significantly to the point that we have to use two plates which kinda defeats it purpose! Once this pack is used up, I will not be buying it again. So disappointing.

No Longer Quality Made

I've used chinet plates for years because they were dependable and sturdy. This new batch is horrible and cheaply made. Of the 165 half were dirty right out of the package. I had pancakes and syrup and it went through the plate and ended up on my table. This has happened often. I now have to use 2 plates to keep my food from leaking through. I feel cheated beause it is money lost and I'm stuck with plates that are dirty and cheaply made. Not a happy camper and will shop for another brand. So long Chinet.

"recycled" aka "looks dirty"

Purchased these for a graduation party. When we opened them the day prior, the plates all looked stained/dirty and there was no way we were going to let our guests use these. Had to go elsewhere to buy different ones. I guess that is what "recycled" gets you....Will never buy these again and will be heading back in for a refund.

Don't waste your money

Very disapointed for the second time for this product. First, they had hold in the plates and if they didn't have holes they were very thin. This time it looks like the plates got wet they have ridges and bumps all over the plates. I always thought Chinet was the upper class of plates, but they are not the are junk.
