Normally I shy away from these types of biodegradable plates because anything that isn’t a dry food usually soaks through or makes the plate come off onto wet foods. It always grossed me out. We’ve used a couple rounds of these for dinners and I haven’t had any of those issues and they hold way more than I anticipated also. Would def but again!

Not waterproof, but microwavable, and less toxic than plastic.These are the best for pot luck dinners and at home when washing dishes seem to be too much.

I have been using these plates for many many years. No in the last year chinet plates are thin, bent out of shape out of the bag, don't have flat surface on the entire center and more importantly they soak through and change shape with the least amount of moisture. Why did you ruin something made the same way for who knows how many years?

We had greasy taco burgers for dinner and fries and these plates held up very nicely! Super impressed with these! 100 percent recommend !!!!

Chinet plates used to be the very best paper plates but something has changed drastically in the manufacturing process. We used to buy these for big holiday family gatherings like Christmas or Thanksgiving, but now the plates leak so badly that the only things you can safely serve on them are dry foods like sandwiches and chips! I wonder if environmental restrictions are forcing the manufacturer to use recycled paper as the majority of content, or if they are cutting back on quality to make more profit? Whatever the reason for the decline, I have purchased my last package of Chinet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are paper plates but I find them to be very sturdy and thick. Much sturdier than other brands. The plates are huge too so you can fit a lot on them. Very resilient plates that I will definitely be purchasing once I run out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Chinet classic white lunch plates for my family. They are ok. I don’t care for the feel of them. You can’t put a lot on the plates or they get flimsy. Not able to microwave them. I would not buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These worked great for a large family meal. I really like that they are recycled as well. Same size as a standard dinner plate, they were plenty strong to hold our large meal. Being able to clean up quickly is fantastic!
