we have used Chinet paper products for years. I am so disappointed with this batch of plates. the plates actually get wet. I use the plates as a cover on my popcorn pot. Bottom of plate covers pot. top of plate faces the ceiling. they have always worked without any bleed thru. Now as the kernels hit the bottom of the plate there is a spot showing on the top. The plates actually get wet. the rigid structure of the plates that keeps the plate from bending is gone.

Now I'm stuck with at least 100 plates that leak right through. They didn't used to. They are not made like they used to be. I'm going to have to start buying a stronger paper plate. Plus, they mostly all look like they have been used with food stuck on. I always bought Chinet in the past, but these are like expensive knock-offs. Not please!

Chinet plates are excellent! The order arrived at my doorstep, promptly. I was pleased to find the plates in a greater quantity, at a significant savings, through Sam's Club. My spouse and I are retired. It's so easy to use and toss these plates, cutting down on clean-up time in the kitchen.

I buy these and donate them to Ronald McDonald House here in Seattle. You can shop around all you want. Sam's made not only on line shopping easy, but had it ready the same day I purchased these. The staff helping me was tops. You can buy elsewhere and on line but you won't get this great price.

I was a bit disappointed with these plates. They are not as thick as what you purchase in a regular grocery store. I also saw black marks on many of the plates (almost like a mold) that went through 3-5 plates. I had to throw those out. I also noticed that you need multiple plates as they just don't hold up like the ones in the store...they are about 2 steps above the standard paper plates that you can buy. I will not be purchasing these again.

A one time excellent, go to product has deteriorated into the worst ....most plates look "not finished"..."incomplete" or "rushed through the manufacturing process" ... never again !! Might as well serve food on the floor - because these plates will either collapse, leak or fold over spilling the plate contents all over the floor

Does what a paper plate should do. Can hold a lot of food without collapsing. Holds up well for cutting meat or vegetables. Can handle more liquid that traditional paper plates but recommend using two if the food has a lot of sauce or grease because it is still paper and the liquid eventually makes it's way through.

Plates are far inferior to the old plates that were sold as Chinet. New plates absorb the food on your plates making them soggy and weak. You need a minimum of 2 plates if you have any hope of retaining your food on that plates. Not the plates they were!!! I stopped buying them because of the above stated reasons and only purchase them this time because there was no Dixie plates available and I was hoping they would have figured out there are problems!! In the past they were always sold out but now there are plenty available now and Dixie is sold out. Who would have thought!!

I love these plates. Large size is perfect so your food isn't crowded. Look very nice... not China, but who uses china anymore anyway!? Sturdy enough for most meals and doubled up, it'll handle anything but molten lava! Sam's has the best price anywhere! I've done the research.
