I've been using this brand since the 1960's. They are now made from recycled products which gives food, even a slice of bread, a very bad flavor. Just because you use paper, your food shouldn't taste like it. Very disappointed in Chine'ts new products.

Leaks right through!

Leaks right through! I served fried eggs on this plate and the grease went right through onto the table surface. See pictures of the front and back. I also served a cheese dish and it too went right through and stuck to it too. Never buy it again!!! What a waste!

Waste of money. Used to be a great product.

This is an absolute TERRIBLE product with it being so-called "compostable" now. Thought it was a fluke, but after purchasing more, it was a disappointment. The plates fell apart with being soggy and losing it's shape before we're even done eating our meal. Really unfortunate because we loved the economical side of it and being able to have a sturdy plate. We've used these regularly for over 10 years, and will never will purchase again.

Had to double up

I normally buy the Dixie brand plates because they are less expensive and have always been happy with them. Last week I purchased these Chinet plates and the first time i used them, they soaked through and started collapsing. I had to double up to be able to hold my plate. For the price, im going back to Dixie plates and wont use the chinets i have except for sandwiches and possibly chips. What a shame, I was so disappounted.
