Worst Plates I’ve ever purchased

I normally purchase Members Mark paper plates. This time the price was a little better for the Chinet. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! This product is flimsy, cheap quality and the plates look dirty. ( tried to include a photo but the system kept giving an error ) *I DO NOT %26 WILL NOT recommend this product!

Ope! Sounds like a party foul on our part. Here's the truth—Chinet Classic® products are made from pre-consumer recycled material and pressed into form. We love using recycled materials, but it means we are constantly re-evaluating and optimizing the manufacturing process. Recently, all Chinet Classic® molded fiber tableware transitioned to a new Oil & Grease Resistant (OGR) barrier technology. Because of that, you didn't get our best product, and we apologize. We are working to correct the issue. In the meantime, feel free to contact a representative by email at my.chinet@huhtamaki.com or call 1-800-847-4129. Thank you!

Great price, not the best quality

The plates seem to get a bit soggy in the middle.

Very dissatisfied

Dislike them very much. these plates may only hold cold food. They soak even with warm food steam. Definitely not good for any food that is warm, may have sauces or liquid consistency whatsoever. Will not purchase again

Leaks right through!

Leaks right through! I served fried eggs on this plate and the grease went right through onto the table surface. See pictures of the front and back. I also served a cheese dish and it too went right through and stuck to it too. Never buy it again!!! What a waste!

Great product and Environmentally Friendly too!

I love it when a product does what I need AND is environmentally friendly. I buy these for our everyday paper plates. We have a tiny apartment kitchen, not even room for dirty dishes! LOL! The only con is that sometimes they stick together. So on holidays or at family gathering I take out a bunch of plates from the package, separate them, and then stagger stack them on the buffet so that it is easy to grab a plate and keep going so that the line of hungry people doesn't get stacked up at the beginning. ? Our city gives us a compost trash bin along with a recycling bin and trash bin. So it is easy be a responsible citizen. ? Now some will say that this product is more expensive than the brand of paper plates they use now but take this into consideration: 1. You never have to double these plates because they don't leak. 2. No plastic chemicals leeching into your food when you use it while microwaving. 3. We need to encourage corporations to be environmentally friendly and we can do this by how we spend our money. 4. If you are not an activist but want to do SOMETHING to ensure that your children and grandchildren have some air left to breathe, buy items made from recycled materials and then recycle or compost them when you are done.
