Whenever I am planning a get together with family or friends, Chinet is the brand that I buy. The plates are made from good quality products and can withstand any food product. The plates are leak proof and grease does not soak through. I have used these plates to serve fried chicken, cole slaw, corn on the cob and so many other good foods. I have much confidence that my guests will use the plates and have no accidents while eating. (Accidents would be fluids leaking through, plates not strong enough to hold food)

However, they are extremely handy to have for when you have a number of people to feed, or, in our most recent case, when you go car camping. My husband recently had a back surgery that keeps from bending over, so washing dishes at the spigot is difficult; instead we used these for our 5-night camping trip meals. This size plate is perfect for lunch time with plenty of room for a big sandwich, chips, and some carrots or fruit. We didn't feel as guilty about using these since they are paper (not plastic!) and decompose. We even used dirty ones to start our fires sometimes. They don't get flimsy with something moist on it, even if it sits for a while. Very tough and sturdy, you won't need to double these up ever. Highly recommend!

I've used lots of plates that fold up and the food winds up on the floor. You may pay a little more for Chinet but definitely worth the cost.

I find myself also using these plates instead of a cutting board when I want to cut up an apple of tomato. I appreciate the elimination of having to wash dishes and that these are eco-friendly.

These plates are Eco friendly and are made with recycled materials. I was surprised with how well they hold their shape after being in the microwave. Other plates I've used in the past tend to melt in the microwave, but these do not. I appreciate that these plates are leak and cut resistant as well. These plates are thick and we'll built so you do not have to double your plate because they do not break or leak through. I highly recommend these plates as they will not disappoint.
