I love Spam.

I love Spam.Stores here don't carry all types so classic is what I buy. Love having fried Spam with a fried egg on toasted bun or just regular toast. Coffee with it and I could eat it three times a day. It's also great in macaroni salad or anything you can imagine.

You aint campin' if you aint spammin'

Nothing in this world like going camping with a can of spam in hand by the fire. Ive become somewhat of a disciple for spam amongst the younger preppier children in the boyscout troop who have never gotten to try god's sacred meat. Lives are changed after having your first can of spam. It makes perfect sense why there is a mafia for this stuff in Hawaii.

A treat like a Christmas turkey!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spam is such a handy treat and so tasty to eat. It comes in a neat, clean looking can and is best sliced into a fry pan. It also can be sliced and made into sandwiches! I promote it ... never demote it ... I endorse it and never have remorse over it.

love it but hard to find

I like spam to begin with but my wife and i empty-nesters now and she doesn't care for it as much as i do. That's why i like the smaller can since i can have it myself for lunch with very little, if any, waste.I like it as a grilled spam and cheese sandwich. I only gave it 4 stars because it has become pretty difficult to find the smaller sized cans and the individually wrapped slices are pretty expensive, comparatively speaking.

AWESOME WITH FRIED RICE

I have eaten spam for a very long time! It may be salty but it adds a special spice to every meal and it cuts the sodium. I don't have to worry about high blood pressure, even with as much Spam I eat. I keep my blood pressure down by diet. Plus the Spam Singles are great for the brown bag lunches I make and hand out to the homeless. Keep Up The Great Work! Thank You!

Great product

I have eaten Spam since a child. Two recipes I remember eating was a sweet and sour baked spam. It had pineapple and I m not sure what else. Another was a cornbread recipe that had spam in the bottom of skillet with cornbread mix poured over it. Inside the cornbread mix was some chopped onion and pepper. The spam basically fried while cornbread was cooking. A perfect addition to a southern country meal. Perhaps the simplest and my favorite breakfast is fried spam placed inside a thin biscuit. So good.

Comfort food

Short version- fried slices of Spam on pilot bread is a favorite comfort food and treat. Long version- My mother came to Alaska in the late 60s as a volunteer. For her, it was something completely new. She'd never been in a place where the grocery stores might not carry fresh food. She was introduced to Spam and pilot bread, as they are shelf stable foods. When she had children of her own, she was living in the city. When she got nostalgic for the villages, she would make fried Spam and serve it on pilot. It became a treat that we enjoyed. It still is, when I'm missing her a lot, I'll get a can of Spam and a box of pilot bread and it tastes exactly the same as when she made it. That product consistency, the flavor, it tastes like home. My children like it in eggs, my husband likes it in sandwiches. Me? I'll still have it on pilot bread. Soft on the inside, fried crisp on the outside, on a crunchy piece of pilot bread.

Unfairly maligned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I limit myself to only having SPAM once a week as my missus tells me it's not healthy. Nevertheless, she eats it just as happily as I, mostly for breakfast as a fried side meat for my eggs and toast. My dad started me with SPAM as a boy, and he ate it several times a week and lived to be 88 years old.
