This product is always stocked in my pantry!

I am 76 years old and have been enjoying Spam Classic as far back as i can remember. My Dad used to cut it into 1/2 inch cubes, pan fry it and add scrambled eggs. I still do this myself and also cut thick slices for sandwiches. Four slices per can make a great sandwich. Add your favorite cheese, a bit of mustard and fresh ground black pepper. Awesome! On a side note, the cans have not changed much except the cans previously came with an attached key that you removed and used to open the can. (Much like old time ground coffee cans.) Further I believe that Spam's quality has dramatically improved. Years ago I remember small bone chips and gristle in Spam. That is no longer true today. THANKS Hormel!

I really like the other varieties, BUT...

NOTHING can take the place of 'The Original' Spam! It's nice, once in a while, to try a variety flavor, but I always come back to plain old Spam. It's even good right out of the can. It's a staple in my pantry and can jump into service at a moment's notice.

I continue to buy this product again and again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spam cooks up quickly and easily, for a snack, or part of breakfast. Or breakfast for dinner. There is no wrong way to fix this. I pan fry, and get a nice crust on it. I grew up eating it, and my husband loves it, too. And sometimes, I cube it, pan fry it, and it to macaroni sald - SO good!

SPAM-alicious SPAMwich

Using two slices of white bread, generously spread softened butter on them. Place two thick slices of SPAM side by side on one slice. Carefully lay crunchy potato chips on top of the SPAM. Gently lay the second slice of bread on top. Press the sandwich together. Sit down and enjoy this SPAM-alicious, crunch-tastic treat.

A classic food for delicious meals any time of the day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spam Classic, a classic food that can be used in many different recipes. For breakfast, in spam egg and potato taquito. The flavors blend perfectly to give you a boost in the morning and hold you out for lunch. At lunch, instead of a BLT try a SLT, spam lettuce and tomato. Brown both sides of a appropriately sized slice of spam, layer it with lettuce and fresh tomatoes and a little mayonnaise and you are set for the rest of the day. Finally for dinner, dice spam into small pieces and mix it up with a pot of beans. Let it cook and simmer and you have a hearty meal that will satisfy the biggest appetite.

Spam is a family favorite

We eat SPAM a number of ways, but the most common is thinly fried in a pan till one side has a bit of crisp to it. We can get so posessive that my 18 year old son will write his name on a can in the pantry to ensure he gets some before we run out of stock. I say stock because we buy in bulk sometimes. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner I have dishes that call for SPAM and everyone loves it!

The Glam that is Spam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Classic SPAM in it's striking tins, A favourite always when it comes to my dins, A flavoursome and meaty adaptable fayre, After a busy day so easy to prepare, There's lots of of varieties for you to pick, Though the one for me will always be Classic, Thinly sliced with some pulses and chips, That's enough to get me licking my lips, For dinner, for lunch or in a sandwich on bread, You can't get Classic Spam out of your head

Nothing Beats Spam!

The Original Spam has been in my family for decades and is perfect anytime of the day. As a child, I remember having it with breakfast and how perfect it was in a sandwich for lunch. It was even great for dinner adding flavor to the many dishes we had. From Spam Musubi to Spam and eggs, you name it, nothing beats Spam! It's a family tradition.

My family and I grew up eating SPAM all day!

It is our go to food. We eat it anytime of the day. I slice thick and placed in the oven for 10 minutes. My family and I eat with rice and eggs for breakfast. Or mix it with diced potatoes and chicken liver for dinner. We even put it in sliced bread with mayo for snacks. We can do anything we want to do with our SPAm because it goes well with anything!

I have for 50 years

My husband I love Spam I cooked many different ways for my kids They loved it We all still do I made good cheap meals on a very struck budget. My kids favorite was I made large diced spam and added to Mac and cheese My kids make it for their family. The loved baked spam. Made just like small ham brown surges and pineapple. So good
