I love Spam.Stores here don't carry all types so classic is what I buy. Love having fried Spam with a fried egg on toasted bun or just regular toast. Coffee with it and I could eat it three times a day. It's also great in macaroni salad or anything you can imagine.

Spamwiches. Spamburgers. Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, baked beans, Spam, Spam, Spam and Spam. All of which can be made with the original and best Spam. This post isn't spam. Not only does it provide everything a growing boy needs (and more), but it has possibly the best texture of all processed, canned meats. And I should know, I've tried Celebrity Meatloaf.

I remember as a child we would open a can of spam with a little thing I think it was a can key. You would twist the metal off with the key. Loved eating it straight out of the can but also loved throwing it in a frying pan and fry it up. (Sometimes putting it in scrambled eggs) Sometimes we would cut it up and put in kraft Mac and cheese. I also did this when my children were younger.

I have used Spam many ways. My favorite by far is to slice it thin 3/8 to 1/4 inch thick slices, then fry it until it's crispy. Sometimes just the Spam and 2 slices of bread, sometimes Spam 2 slices of bread, with mustard, sometimes just fried nice and crispy with a little mustard and eat it that way. Seems that no matter what you do you will always end up with one of the best meats out there. I wasn't aware that you made so many flavors. Now after reading about your flavors I'm going to see if I can convince my local grocery to start carrying more flavors, although I do love the classic. Going to make some right now to enjoy tonight. How do you go wrong with a classic? I have spent my life educating people on the delish-ish-ness that is SPAM. Growing up Hawaiian, this was our bacon. Fried spam is by far the best thing this world has. Wait, it's also really good in fried rice. Well, I have been known to make sandwiches with it. I can't be expected to pick just one way to enjoy my SPAM. I like it all!

I grew up with spam, we didn't have a lot of money and spam was our savior. I still live spam, especially fried but now it has become expensive and I can't afford. I wish they would drop the price or give out coupons like candy so I can get a can atleast once a month. I miss you spam.

I love Spam Classic. I keep it stocked in my pantry all the time. I cook it for my family for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. It is so versatile you can use it so many ways! The best way though for us is fried with eggs at breakfast! My husband makes sandwiches with it. I make casseroles with it also. If I forget to take something out of the freezer or just don't have time to cook a meal, Spam is always there! Cooks fast and so many ways to serve it. I love Spam Classic. It will always be in my pantry.

I love Spam because it's so versatile. Back in 1959-60's Spam was what my grandpa always made us kids for breakfast. Spam and eggs or Span hash, opening a can takes me right back there. We eat it for breakfast, just like Gramps, great on hunting trips. We commercial fish and always have Spam on board. It won't go bad, can be ate straight out of the can if needed or fixed in hundreds of different ways. Easy to cook over a campfire. What could possibly be better for a family on the move.

I am 76 years old and have been enjoying Spam Classic as far back as i can remember. My Dad used to cut it into 1/2 inch cubes, pan fry it and add scrambled eggs. I still do this myself and also cut thick slices for sandwiches. Four slices per can make a great sandwich. Add your favorite cheese, a bit of mustard and fresh ground black pepper. Awesome! On a side note, the cans have not changed much except the cans previously came with an attached key that you removed and used to open the can. (Much like old time ground coffee cans.) Further I believe that Spam's quality has dramatically improved. Years ago I remember small bone chips and gristle in Spam. That is no longer true today. THANKS Hormel!

The Original Spam has been in my family for decades and is perfect anytime of the day. As a child, I remember having it with breakfast and how perfect it was in a sandwich for lunch. It was even great for dinner adding flavor to the many dishes we had. From Spam Musubi to Spam and eggs, you name it, nothing beats Spam! It's a family tradition.
