Great smell, makes clothes really soft. I love it!!! it smells kinda sexy and sweet at the same time. i use it on me and my fiance's clothes. Ive always loved lavender scented stuff anyway. would definitely recommend this to a friend. Its a great product. I will be buying this product in the future!!

I have been drawn to the Lavender Serenity dryer sheets, and am just now trying the fabric softener in the washing machine. My knitted afghans that my Grandma made for me used to be so rough when they came out of the washing machine, even when I washed them on Delicate and in cold water. But now when I put the liquid fabric softener on them in the rinse water, then I put the dryer sheets in on the Delicate Cycle on low heat in the dryer, these afghans of mine are now as soft as the Sun and the Sea. It feels like i'm holding in my arms a soft, warm, sweet dream of Australia! Your lavender scent is something I will always cherish for years to come!

The new lavender serenity scent is horrible. I bought it thinking it was the lavender and vanilla because the packaging looked the same. But once I used it for the first time I noticed a change in smell immediately. I'm very disappointed with your product now. I will not be buying your product until the old scent is brought back.

No issues with staining my clothing. I don’t find the fragrance to be too strong or over powering. Just a nice calm and subtle freshness.

I was very upset to discover that the lavender/vanilla scent had been changed. I'm not even sure when it happened because I bought it in bulk and I just recently ran out. Unfortunately I went with another brand because I didn't like the new scent. I sincerely hope you change it back but untill then I guess all I can do is wait.

This new product is SO strong smelling that I cannot use it. I have chemical sensitivities, and found the Vanilla & Lavender to be a wonderful product that I could use on all our clothes and bedding. I have an HE washer so had to give up the Downy April Fresh I'd used for 25 years because the odor is just too strong & my family was complaining about the strong smell. We were thrilled when I found Vanilla & Lavender for HE. I gave my daughter my last box of the dryer sheets as one of her Advent gifts, not realizing I can no longer get it, and I'm so upset about it. I cannot even bring this Lavender Serenity into my house because the smell is too strong. Now I'm left trying to find a different brand of fabric softener that smell good and works as well as the Downy Vanilla & Lavender does. :(

I've never given feedback on a consumer product until now. I am so very uhappy, even angry, that Downy would discontinue the Vanilla & Lavender frangrance! It smelled so fantastic! I even used to add it with water in a squirt bottle and spray it on my furniture. I got compliments all the time on how nice my clothes smelled. The scent was so calming. This new Lavender Serenity is awful. It's way too perfumey and strong. Now I'm frantically trying to find it on the internet somewhere - anywhere. BRING BACK THE VANILLA & LAVENDER FRAGRANCE!!!

It was easy to pour and the scent infused in my clothes and I could still smell the freshness after drying. The packaging is very eye catching. I love the look of the bottle and the bright colors. It also made my clothes feel even more soft after each use. I will gladly continue to use this product.

This fabric softener is very effective because the smell last for very long time after doing laundry.
