I too want the old vanilla lavender back!!!!!!!! It was so much better! I miss it. I have one left that I was able to find and I'm streching it's use but it's almost gone. I've searched but can't find any more. It's so sad. The new one just can't compare to the scent of the old one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I try not to use too many additives in my laundry, but I’ve been on the laundry side of TikTok and I have been seeing this particular softener everywhere, so when I got the offer for this I couldn’t say no. The softener was delivered fairly quickly and it was packaged nice and tight. Upon opening the bottle I noticed a soft clean smell. It is very potent without being overwhelming. I enjoyed the beautiful purple shade, but I was also afraid that it would stain my clothing. Thankfully it did not make any stains. I like the smoothness of the liquid as well. I have decided to continue using this product mainly on towels and blankets.

Environmental it’s reusable meaning that you can fill it up with the same product over and over again how you can use that container for other things around the house..

I really like the packaging because it's new and different. It's easy to read. The value for the product is worth it. The texture is creamy. I will buy this product again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy has always been one of my favorite fabric softeners. The scent is strong but calming. After using it for a load of laundry, my clothes sleep and feel great. The bottle is cute. I love the cap of the bottle itself.

The new shiny purple box looks pretty, but the new smell is terrible. Bring back my Lavender and Vanilla sent. I have just wasted my money on this new product. I am contacting Downey to see about a refund. The old Lavender and Vanilla Downey always had people asking me what I used to make my cloths smell so good. Wont happen with this new scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I️ have been using the downy calm fabric softener for about 3/4 months now and it has become my favorite. I️ will not purchase anything else. A little bit of the fabric softener goes a long way because it’s very potent. It smells amazing and when it’s paired with the dryer sheets of the same brand, the smell last a long time on my clothes.

I was NOT surprised when I came on to the Downy website to complain about the new Lavender Serenity formula to find many other customers complaining about the same thing! The new version (even though it says is the same scent only "improved") smells completely different! With the old Lavender & Vanilla formula, my clothes would smell so incredibly good, for days. This new formula leaves my laundry with no scent at all. I might as well not use any! It smells very similar to the old formula out of the bottle, however, when the clothes are laundered, NO comparison. I am writing to Downy to request a refund. Please Downy, bring back the old Lavender & Vanilla formula or you will be losing many loyal fans.
