These always maxi pads literally saved my life while I was traveling in Europe and had the heaviest period of my entire life for the entire week. I was in a panic after I ran out of tampons and bought pads for the first time in 10+ years to avoid European tampons (if you know you know) and I have not turned back since! I finally looked this up since I thought I was the only person having this problem. The pad rips as you are trying to pull it off of your panty and then gets bloody cotton everywhere. There is also little pieces of plastic stuck to your panties. It is horrible!!! Why did the manufacturer change the adhesive and ruin an awesome pad???

This lasts a long time, it's more than 8hrs, but 4hrs should be good enough when those first three days of the heavy flow occur on the menstrual cycle. It's not good to have a worn out pad past 4hrs, unless no other option, due to sanitary reasons, but these are heaven sent. They do the duty they say they do.

The wings stick pretty well. which helps prevent the pad from bunching up over time. They can be a bit noticeable when wearing very tight, thin pants but are otherwise very discrete.
