I never thought about how clean my dishes were if I couldn't see any residue, but after using Cascade Platinum I realized my dishes had a film on them. They were never REALLY clean. After the 2nd cycle of dishes using Cascade Platinum, my dishwasher was cleaner than new which made me realize that this is what clean really looks and feels like! I love not having to use a rinse agent in addition to the detergent. This pod is all in one; easy to drop and go. I will never use another detergent in my dishwasher! Cascade Platinum, I am so glad to become your biggest fan!!

The stuff works great, but i don't the manufactures are aware that the extra action pacs react with aluminum. It turn aluminum pots a dark color and leaves an almost like powder finish. The pot looks like it has been held over an open fire and black smoke has collected on it. At that point I hand wash them and use a steel wool pad to return the pot to its original color. You can clearly see that the pot has become pitted. I just thought you should know.

I have an older dishwasher and find my glasses used to ALWAYS have particals of food in them.Then I finally tried Cascade, I have never been more satisfied with a cleaning product. Cascade Complete works so good I tell the strangers I see trying to decide which one to buy...So I tell them how well it works wih my "antique" dishwasher and BAM thy put down the palmolive and buy thecascde complete. It is a little more expensive, but after I would have to re-wash and re-run my dishwasher it turns out to be less expensive. I'd reccomend this produnt to the POPE!!!!!

Used to love Cascade but now have to read fine print to make sure I do not unwillingly pick up "fresh scent" again. It is not highly visible and I had no idea that they had perfumed the product. Tastes awful.....cross between lavender and perfume...ICK!!! Every time you eat off utinsels, etc. you can taste it and it is NOT pleasant. If I can't find lemon or unscented I will be switching brands.

I have a much older dishwasher but my dishes always come out clean & w no spots or residue when I use any of the Cascade packs. My favorite is this one with Dawn & Fresh Scent. As much as I love this product, it is a bit costly for my budget, so i cannot buy them as often as I would like.

I married a man of cuban decent which means everything in made with lard .That has to be the oiliest pots and pans to clean .We retired to The Villages Florida and the water leaves spot I have tried every thing til a neighbor told me to try this . Bless her . I'm a happy old lady now .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using Cascade for a long time but it left a residue on the bottom of my dish washer & the dish washer also made strange noises. It didn't matter if I used gel packs, liquid gel (that's the worst) or the Platinum. I noticed that just about everyone I know has been using Finish. I switched to Finish & don't seem to have those problems.

I have always used Cascade in my dishwashers and now that I have a old and cheap dishwasher I use Cascade Complete with Dawn. Even in my outdated dishwasher and extremely hard water my dishes come out clean and brite. All I can say is Thank you for the help Cascade.
