[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love Cascade ActionPacs! Gone are the days of messy powders and gels that are impossible to pour into the detergent receptacle, and don't work well once you get them in there. The little pacs are so neat and convenient. They work on the toughest dried on and cooked on food residue. Since I have started using these, I have never had to re-wash a single plate, glass, or utensil.

I remember a time that dishes were done by hand. Everyday you would soap up the sink and get to scrubbing in scolding hot water. When we got our first dishwasher it was a big WHEEEW we tried other brands that left us with food still stuck. Might as well wash by hand.... UNTILLLL We used Cascade. Couldnt believe the difference. Clean dishes. Im not longer a maid. I continue to use Cascade. I hit start on the washer and take a nap.

I have never been disappointed when I use them. It has long been said that you get what you pay for, and while they cost a little more, I find the cost well worth the performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying to go to a generic brand to save a couple of cents, my experiment phase didn't last long. I ended up having to use 2 of the generic pacs to get to a semi-acceptable level of clean. I went back to the Platinum pacs immediately. I was happy I didn't have to inspect my dishes before putting them away. I trust Cascade to help make my life a little easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that these are just open the package and put in the dishwasher. One less step to worry about than opening up individual packets. They really do a good job cleaning the dishes in the washer. I had plates full of spaghetti stains and all were clean! My glasses are where I can tell it really works, no soap residue.

After rinsing our dishes and putting them in the dishwasher, we found that they were cleaner before we put them in. This product left a gross white grainy film on all of our dishes. Thinking it may be our water, we ran an empty cycle with with white vinegar (this has been best method for us to clean our dishwasher). The next time we ran our dishes with this product, more white grainy film. I was very embarassed to pull out a glass to offer a freind something to drink only to have to wash the glass after pulling them out of the dishwasher. I will not be using this product ever again. I'd rather find a better product. With 6 children, I don't have time to hand wash everything...unless they do it themselves. Perhaps I've found my solution!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got my new dishwasher I wanted to start with the very best so of course, I bought Cascade! I washed the first load. Everything came out to a level of mediocrity that I was surprised by. The dishes appeared dull and the glassware especially was dim. I had a whole package worth to muscle through. I did. It did not improve. I was disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use tablets; no mess! Pouring liquids usually guarantees I spill some of it; of course, this is wasteful. Then the little door pops open while I'm closing the dishwasher door. Problems solved with this tablet.

I recently decided to try the Cascade ActionPaks because I have always been pleased with Cascade and have used Cascade for years - however my experience lately has been sad. My dishes are not coming out clean and there is a film all over them and I am embarassed to take them out. I am having to re-wash them in the sink and some of my utensils are ruined because of the film that was left during the drying process. I have recently read the other reviews and I'm happy (not happy really) to see I'm not the only household having this problem; but it is a huge inconvenience and frustrating. I will not recommend this to anyone I know and I'm not using the rest of the container I have which is more then 3/4 full until Cascade resolves the issue.

I have purchased cascade for over 28 years. The new formulation doesn't work. It is ruining my dishes. I just remodeled my kitchen and put in a $2,000 ASKO dishwasher and the repairman indicated it is your product that is ruining my new dishwasher. Please bring back the old formula. Like the other reviews, I would give this a negative star if I could and would tell everyone "Never Buy Cascade" it will ruin your dishwasher and dishes.
