Been using Tide Free and Gentle for years. The last bottle purchased had an odd, unpleasant smell and a yellowish tinge to it. I quit using it. Disappointed in the quality and concerned about the cause as it looks like I am not the only one to have this happen!

We've been using Tide Free and Clear for years. Free and Gentle has a smell and also made my husband break out. He's been seeing drs for months trying to figure out the cause. So frustrating that it's a detergent we've trusted for years. We believe there must have been an ingredient change that wasn't revealed.

I personally like a more fresh scent after washing laundry but my son said he didn't feel like his clothes made him itchy like our other brand so I will be using this more often.

However, my biggest complaint is that it does not help with odor almost at all. So, if you use this product, be sure to use some type of odor remover or scent ( be careful of scents if you have sensitive skin). Overall, good but not as practical for bigger or stinkier washes.

I use this product because I have sensitive skin.I was doing laundry and open the container of liquid detergent and immediately noticed it smelt very different. I showed to the laundromat attendant and the notice the bad order as well. Smh very dissatisfied.

It's fragrance free and gentle on your clothes. And it's high efficiency washer friendly. Plus, I love that the cap has guidelines for the size of your load.

Did the formula change? I have been using this for years, as the only detergent without synthetic dyes, SLS or sulfates, and without whatever is in HE detergents that makes me get hives. Now, every time I put on newly washed clothes, I am itching like crazy all over my body. I even went as far as to buy 3 new sets of clothes to try without washing, and I was fine.
