I tried this after being very disappointed in dreft for babies. Light to very little scent if any. Removes stains without any extra help. A little pricey but I will pay it for my babies so they dont break out from our fragrance detergent. Highly recommend for new mamas or people with sensitive skin

Seemed to make my clothes brighter too. Great tide soap and I will be purchasing this in the future and I will be recommending this tide brand

The free and gentle liquid laundry detergent is free of perfume and dye so it's gently for the skin. Even though it does a good job of cleaning like others regular detergent too. My skin is sensitive so it's good for me. I will be buying it again. It's good value and reasonable price too

my bottles the detergent is more amber color than I remember the past formulas, I only use to the 1 mark and my clothes are all ruined. I tried scrubbing stains out and doing several washes, even vinegar washes. It's like someone put epoxy on my clothes. I also noticed in one of the bottles some white globs as if the formula isn't stable. While the other bottle doesn't seem to have this it still left stains on my clothes.

With other detergents, particularly with the dyed and scented ones, I broke out like crazy! I'm talking about rashes and hives all over my body. With this detergent, it effectively cleans clothes and also whites without the use of bleach, and doesn't bother my skin. Although my clothes aren't fragrant coming out the dryers with this detergent, they're still fresh and clean-smelling.

I have serious skin sensitivity with laundry detergent. I thought buying tide free and gentle meant that I was buying laundry detergent safe for my skin but I had to wash a pair of leggings by hand in the skin and all I had for detergent were free and gentle pods. As soon as the pod was soaked in water in the sink it turned blue just like the regular detergent. I also thought that my skin sensitivity flaring up bad again was cause by the dorm environment and communal laundry rooms but all along it had been the detergent I was using.

I like the cleaning power of Tide but having one that is great for those with allergies to scents makes it perfect. The absence of harsh chemicals allowed me to make an easy decision to try it with food stained toddler clothes and bath towels. I would highly recommended Tide Free and Gentle to keep your washables bright and clean.

We have been using Tide Clean for years because my husband has a severe allergy to certain chemicals often used in laundry detergent or those new “unstoppable beads”. Tide clean has been really helpful/important. Just bought Tide Clean and Gentle and he woke up with hives this morning. What changed? Why?! It says hypoallergenic but that's not quite right … noticing others having the same reaction.

I would definitely recommend tide to my friends. And I will definitely change to tide gently liquid laundry detergent. The 37 oz bottle is the perfect size. Definitely go buy this at your local store.

I've never had an allergic reaction to detergent. I've lived in multiple countries and used multiple detergents, although the Tide brand has always been a staple. I've been using Free and Gentle for 4 months. I didnt connect the rash that started occuring on my back every day with "free and gentle" because I had a lot of Trust in Tide. But I cut the detergent out and rewashed all my clothes and the rash vanished. Some ingredient needs to be investigated by Tide, because based on other reviews, my issue is not unique.
