Wish I would've done this first!!

Our tub has had nasty mat stains from the previous owner.... Tried multiple home and store bought and spent several hours scrubbing. Only an extreme amount of bleach/vinegar would lighten and very little by little. I finally was desperate and tried this.... The package sat unused in my cabinet for almost a year bc I was sick of spending so much time on it. Something came over me tonight and I opened the package...... It took me no more than TEN MINuTES and a brisk scrubbing to get almost the entire stain off. I absolutely love taking baths and CANNOT wait now! I wish I would've done this first!!!! The only reason why I scored it less is bc it didn't do much for the hard water stains yet, but I'm going to keep trying them since I only used one so far on a pretty large job.

SCENTED FABREEZE

I ordered this box from Sam’s assuming it was all the original pads. I’m disappointed they didn’t show that 4 were “Lavender Fabreeze” scented. Fabreeze a full of toxic chemicals, and the scent exudes everywhere. I’ll have to store them in a ziplock bag and def air the bathroom out when done; & use gloves. I’m happy that there are 4 Unscented that are “EXTRA DURABLE”- hopefully that means they won’t dissolve as fast.

Super product!

This past weekend we attended a ball tournament locally. Our grandson was playing while his brother was on the field and stuck both hands in what he thought was mud but nope, it was asphalt! Yes, asphalt! I asked the park admins for something to help clean it off his hands and they didn't have anything. So we googled how to remove it, his hands were sticky and he could barely move his fingers. Suggestions included vegetable oil, olive oil, fingernail polish remover and gasoline. We took him home and started scrubbing with soap and oil, it was not working. On my sink was a magic eraser, we grabbed it, desperate to get this off his hands, I was not about the put gasoline on his little hands. The magic eraser took this right off, and it didn't take much scrubbing either. It even took it out of his clothes! I am amazed and relieved that this product worked with such a nasty mess! So needless to say, we are very happy and love our magic erasers!!

Total disappointment!

At first, the sponges had a formula that did clean. Today, they are glorified sponges that do not last. They break into pieces that make it more of a chore to clean after them. The scratches stay scratched, they do not disappear. Too expensive for such a cheap product. Last time that I purchase this product.

We always want you to get the amazing clean we expect from our Magic Erasers, Lich, so we're sorry to hear this. Magic Erasers are designed to slowly break apart, similar to a pencil eraser. They are also not designed to remove surface scratches, but we'd still love to see how we can help you out further. Please give our team a call at (800) 248-1612 when you have a minute to share.

Great product but short use life... use wisely!

I have used these before for very small jobs.. they're fine for that! But as I prepare a family member's house to be sold, I learned quickly the Magic Eraser (even the "4X Stronger") has a very limited use-life before totally crumbling! Combine that fact with a large job, limited funds and only my own man power, I quickly learned to use only when necessary and as last resort! Any surface other than flat paint, I clean first with dry duster, then use soap/cleaner and water. Whatever that doesn't get, I use Clorox Cleanup and a scrub brush/sponge. Only when those fail can I afford to use the Magic Eraser. Flat paint is more difficult because depending on dirt/mark/stain, it's easy to scrub paint off. I try soap and water first and use sparingly. Magic Eraser crumbles even quicker on these walls. Sad fact I learned the hard way, it would have been cheaper, especially on trim and baseboards, to wipe them down and just repaint! This house was remodeled in the past 4 years with only 2 people living in it. They didn't have a dirty home so I'm shocked by the supplies I've had to use to clean properly! I'm hoping Mr. Clean will keep trying to get these to last longer! I'd certainly be more apt to use (and recommend) them if they can accomplish that!

Unbelievable sponge!!

I just used a magic eraser I've had laying around for years. Oh my gosh! I used it in the tub and it really does look like a new tub! I could not believe it. Comet and Ajax wouldn't even clean off that ground in dirt on the non-slip surface. Minimal scrubbing and it was white again! I kept telling my daughter how amazing that is and she said I should be on a commercial!!

Useful all around the house !!

These 'erasers' don't last as long as a regular sponge does. However, they are WORKHORSES and I won't use anything else on the bathtubs or showers. They clean wonderfully without additional agents - even on soap scum in the tub. If you choose to use Comet, Lysol, etc., they work well together. After a thorough shower stall or tub cleaning, I can use the 'eraser' perhaps two or three more times and then it starts to lose its body shape. Wait! Did I tell you about cleaning the oven with them? Cut my cleaning time in half, I kid you not. It worked so well on the dried, old grease, and left the racks looking new. We have hard water out here, and the 'eraser' shines my crappy aluminum sink and the faucets too. They cost a little more than sponges, but absolutely worth it. You won't be disappointed.

Useless

This product started disintegrating nearly immediately rendering it useless in cleaning my tub. The cleaning agent in the sponge did seem to work, but if you cant use the sponge beyond a small 12 in area before needing to throw it away it isn't a good purchase. I've seen your responses to other about this same complaint about how it is made to break down over time & use. But come on, almost immediately is a bit ridiculous.

*Magic*

I love these things, although the package I bought recently doesn't have the fresh scent that provides not only the sparkling clean tub, tile, walls but leaves behind a fresh scent as well. I've been using them for over 10 years and hope they continue to make.the fresh scent.

Pick the right job and they work like magic

These are literally amazing for scuff marks, scratches and all those nuisance type "marks" that appear throughout your home. Just dampen slightly and wipe away. They require a bit of elbow grease and crumble pretty quickly but for removing nuisance marks without having to repaint, they're fabulous! I don't see them do anything when used for regular cleaning like tubs and showers. They simply don't work, period. But you can restore old looking walls, remove scuff marks and not have to repaint or worry about damaging the existing paint. Right tool for the right job.
