After having used the mr. Clean Magic Eraser on multiple occasions for numerous task I feel confident in saying that this product does live up to it's claims and it's magic eraser name. I'd have to say that when it comes to crayon scribbles and dirty fingerprints from the furniture to the walls, you name it, that the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is the most effective and effortless method of getting them gone instantaneously. Even badly nicotine stained walls don't stand a chance to the cleaning power of this product, scrublessly at that. I have just found that you must rinse the Magic Eraser in clean water, especially often, while wiping through a tough job, such as the nicotine stained walls. And in doing so, the sponge-like surface sort-of dissolves to nothingness eventually. Obviously it is due time for a new Mr. Clean Magic Eraser at that point, which with these real (non-generic) Magic Erasers I don't find them to use up all that quickly. Just more often than not, the dirtier or more grimed up your cleaning task is the quicker this product will wither away. Overall the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is a preferable product for a quicker, easier way to literally erase away messes. From shoes, sinks, tubs, car interiors, to picnic tables, and more its mightiness will go on till the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is all gone.

I had used the magic eraser for minor jobs and was disappointed because I thought it was just a gimmick sponge. HOWEVER- I was in desperate need to clean my classroom desks from ink. I was going to use bleach but I thought I would try the eraser first and magically the ink came off. This product is not meant to be used like a regular sponge. This product is meant to be used for those problem jobs that need extra. I can't wait to use this on my home. I have cleaned my entire classroom.

The original Mr. Clean magic erasers came with 2 sides. 1 of them was a sponge like substance. The other was like a scrubbing pad. These new 1's fall apart within seconds while scrubbing. I thought my husband just picked up the wrong type, but it seems like they are all the same. Can I get my money back for all of the packages I have purchased trying to get the right 1 that will actually work? I am furious!!!

Marketing/Sales is based on affordability instead of quality. Why not advertise as “New and improved”, providing one quality product for all? The least expensive (which still costs too much), is not worth the money spent. The Magic Eraser falls apart immediately upon use, requiring the use of more erasers to get the job done. While the most expensive Magic Eraser works great, and does allow for getting the job done, with one eraser.
Why not save money by producing one quality eraser, and passing on the savings onto the consumer?

I purchased two Mr. Clean Magic Erasers to remove shoe skuff marks from the lower inside door panels in my light-colored car interior. The surface was smooth and the skuff marks noticable, but not severe. The dirt removal "degree of difficulty" I judged to be low to medium as these are somewhat difficult to completely remove. AT THE FIRST SWIPE, this product began to fall apart, crumbling into large, rolled crumbles. Not only that, but this product removed next to nothing of the marks! I was dumbfounded, especially since right on the side of the box autos (tire sidewalls were a call-out) were one of the recommended application utilities. Auto tire sidewalls?? Really?? These wouldn't last two seconds on a tire sidewall. Did you even test this product on a car? Did you test them at all? This was the SINGLE, worst out-of-the-box product performance that I have EVER experienced. THE WORST! I'm not even prepared to invest in money to discover that I may have purchased a bum sample. And, yes, I get that the "eraser" is an analogy meant to indicate that the product is designed to crumble away. But sorry, not THAT fast! You absolutely need to inject some degree of durability into these things and next think about hiking up their ability to remove auto-related dirt.

I bought these three times over the last two years. At first, I thought maybe I was just getting a 'bad batch'. But, after three separate purchases, I won't be buying these again. The tear/rip almost immediately - even on smooth surfaces like an enamel sink, countertop, etc.

I have used MANY different types of cleaners for my bathroom shower, but NOTHING has done the job that the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser has done. I saw immediate results and for the first time I enjoyed cleaning my shower.. The stains literally just wiped away. With just the Magic Eraser and water. And I'm talkin' some tough stains. I'm throwing out all my other bathroom cleaners. It's the Magic Eraser from now on.

I was scrubbing the marks on the painted wall with a regular sponge. The marks did not disappear. I got the paint out to repaint the wall. I found a magic eraser in my son's cabinet. I had seen the commercials so I thought , what can I lose? Boy, was I surprised on how well this eraser worked. It removed the marks and I didn't have to paint. The sponge isn't very hard so make sure you have plenty to use.

After being very satisfied with the magic eraser for cleaning my kitchen tiles, I recently purchased the magic eraser mop. Prior to using it, I called the company and spoke with as consumer representative, who assured me that it was permissible to use a small amount of a cleaner in the water. I therefore, followed her directions, and although the tiles in my bathroom floor were clean, I checked the mop afterwards, and noticed that it was falling apart and could certainly not be used again. I am very disappointed with the product and do not recommend it......

At first, the sponges had a formula that did clean. Today, they are glorified sponges that do not last. They break into pieces that make it more of a chore to clean after them. The scratches stay scratched, they do not disappear. Too expensive for such a cheap product. Last time that I purchase this product.
