All our laundry detergents are designed to provide good overall cleaning. Detergents help water to penetrate fabrics and then loosen dirt from them. They also suspend dirt in the water so it doesn't go back onto the fabric. It is possible the soil from the garments has redeposited on the fabric. Since the laundry pacs are designed to dissolve when they come into contact with water if they are exposed to moisture the PODS™ can become stuck together leak or burst. We're so sorry to hear that this happened to your brand new back to school clothes. When using Tide, you shouldn't have to worry about this, so we're glad you shared your experience. Since these pods are water soluble, we suggest adding the pod in before your clothes, and make sure too many absorbent items aren't in it, plus your load size isn't too much.
