What were you thinking Tide?!?!?

I have used these pods for years, and I always made sure to get the Spring Meadow scent because it always smelled great. The new scent that is now marketed as Spring Meadow is simply awful. Putrid does not even begin to describe it. I loathe having to wash my clothes now because it starts the disgusting scent cycle all over again. But because I spent so much money to buy the pods, I am hesitant to just throw them in the garbage. That said, I am not sure how much longer I can stand to use this product. My guess is they will end up in the garbage can because I cannot in good conscience give these away to my worst enemy (let alone a friend or family member).

Works great

Tide pods laundry detergent so great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love tide pods they clean my clothes perfectly and have a very nice scent they leave my clothes very soft and it gets stains out no issues I am happy to use 1 single pod and it'll clean the clothes and make them look great and smell fresh I couldn't have ever asked for a better deal I find these are easy to just pop in the wash and no measurements needed. I'd definitely recommend using these they are amazing.

Smell

This was the worst thing I have ever bought bc the smell is so bad. I will never buy this again or even shop from this brand. It ruined all my clothes and the smell doesn't go away, and I've smelled it in my room for weeks even after rewashing my laundry load twice. DONT buy it, the other reviews are right and I wish I read those before I made the worst investment ever.

The strength of the scent desired on the clothes is a personal preference and we're sorry to hear you feel this way. Dosage could be the cause of too much scent remaining after the wash and you may want to use only one PODS™ for your wash. If the you're using a fabric softener this can also affect the scent left on the clothes after the wash. To remove the scent rewash with the items hottest water safe for the fabric, using the recommended amount of detergent and fabric softener. Easy

The smell is amazing and stays with the clothes even after drying. I love tide pods and would highly recommend this product to everyone especially a busy household.
