Heart Burn Relief I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I highly recommend utilizing Prilosec OTC for relieving heartburn. Dealing with heartburn on a daily basis, especially during the night, can be dreadful. However, since I completed the 14-day course of Prilosec OTC, I have experienced a significant improvement. I no longer suffer from heartburn issues and no longer wake up in the middle of the night in pain, as I used to when relying solely on Tums for relief. Prilosec OTC has proven to be a game-changer in managing my heartburn effectively.

I switched from another heartburn product to Prilosec and noticed a positive difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched from another heartburn product to Prilosec and noticed a positive difference. Between settling my heartburn and the pretty package, I am super happy with the results and found my new go-to. Loving how it is trusted by doctors for over 15 years and backed by science so I feel safe using it.

The Best

I have been using Prilosec for years. However, one side effect that is not listed is it depletes Vitamin B12 levels in the body. I had to being B12 injection therapy and tried other medications for heart burn. NOTHING else worked. However, I now get it as a prescriptions since my insurance does cover it. It is only $10.00 for a 3 month supply. I wish the OTC was cheaper. I do keep the OTC on hand for emergencies (I forget to get a refill). This is still the only product that works on my GERDS and my doctor wants me on as it protects my stomach from NSAID ulcers.

Works Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prilosec is my absolute favorite heartburn medicine OTC. It works so well at stopping heartburn. It also works well at blocking it. I love how easy the pill is to swallow and it comes in a nice purple box so its easy to find. Prilosec gives me the confidence I need because it is trusted by doctors and backed by Science. It is a brand I know and trust especially since it works so well at slowing down the acid produced in the stomach. I defintiely recommend trying it

Prilosec OTC Relieves Frequent Heartburn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I'm getting older, I'm discovering I have issues with certain foods. I may love pizza and spicy foods, but sometimes they don't like me later that night and waking up with heartburn interrupts my rest. Dealing with heartburn is no fun, but I've found using Prilosec OTC definitely helps. The pills are easy to swallow and there's nothing chalky to chew. While it is not instantaneous relief, it definitely helps relieve my symptoms and taking one a day helps keeps my symptoms at bay. It can take a few days to start working completely and you shouldn't take for more than a few weeks at a time without a break, but if you're battling frequent bouts of heartburn, Prilosec OTC is the over the counter medication to try. It's definitely helped my frequent heartburn.

need new packaging

My parents & I all take Prilosec daily and have for years. It is totally effective & we love it. However the packaging is a miserable experience for us: I am disabled ( my dominate right hand), my Mother has severe arthritis & my Father's hand cramp painfully. It is a truly frustrating event wrestling with the package using scissors and things to poke holes. Please design & implement easier packaging. Thanks Annie

Magnesium Absorption

I used this product for over 5 years. It was the best medication I found to help with my acid reflux. However, last year I began to experience seizures and memory loss. It was diagnosed as a Magnesium aborption issure related to prolong us of Prilosec. The FDA has issued a warning as to this side effect along with Calcium absorption issues. I contacted the manufacturer via email, but have not recently heard a resolution to my medical expenses related to their product. Please have your Magnesium and Calcium levels check by your physician.

From the mouth of a 6 year old

As we were sitting down to eat dinner, one of the prilosec commercials came on the television. It was the one with the man walking through a parking garage talking about heartburn. A little bit into the commercial he has about 6 little fires on his suit coat. My 6 year old says "If he would have stopped, dropped and rolled he wouldn't have had that problem!" I had to stop what I was doing and sit and laugh. Thought this was just too cute and wanted to share with you guys!

Prilosec OTC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prilosec OTC is great for heartburn and actually lasts for the full day. I was not really happy with the aftertaste that it left even swallowing the pills. I preferred the flavored but would definitely recommend anyone that enjoys spicy food that causes heartburn to use Prilosec. It really works.

Really works!

Heartburn is not something normal for me. When it first started occurring about a week ago I didn't realize what it was. My menstrual cycle had be pretty rough for me this month (sorry tmi) as far as menstrual cramps so I had been talking a lot of ibuprofen 800 mg. it occurred to me two days ago omg I think the medicine I'm taking is causing the weird feeling in my stomach right in the middle. It was mild to where ginger ale helped it right away. It would only get terrible early in the morning. Then today was awful. My husband woke up hearing me in pain! I asked for ginger ale. Then later on I did research and realized omg you can get ulcers from to many NSAIDS! Which has always been my fear and reasons I done like taking them. I tried Roland's... Not much help at all. Then I remembered my hubby bought prilosec earlier in the year. I thought oh no it could take 1-4 days to work! Not for me. The moment I took I had instant relief. I cannot thank prilosec enough. It saved me from so much pain. I was hunched over the pain kept coming back to back every few seconds. I still feel little things here and there but not to where I'm in pain. I hope it lasts the full 24 hrs! If not I will see a doctor because this all really scares me.
