There are so many things you can do with Dawn. You can wash dishes, wash delicates, kill weeds, clean the lawnmower and other equipment. I use it for so many things that buying the larger size was a no brained. I put it in smaller plastic spray bottles around my house .

Honestly, Ive tried a lot of brands. I am against brandmname mainly, but after trying soap after soap, I must say, I will always buy Dawn. It honestly cleans the best, better than Ajax, Palmolive, or any other off brand, even Gain even if it smells way better. Just doesnt clean the same. I buy this big one because I homeschool 4 kids and am a sahm, so dishes is an extension of our bodies at this point. I use it a lot, only way to know it really works.

Great Product, how could you go wrong? My reason for 4 star is that they show the product with the pump. When it arrived there was no pump. There is a phone number in the fine print to call P&G to get one from the company, which I did. Was a bit of trouble and wait, but they did come about 10 days later. My thinking is, don’t show it with the pump if its not in the package. Possible put an disclaimer on the order page telling you it has to be ordered separate.

I did not read the fine print.. I wanted this specific product because of the pump. So when I opened the box and saw that there was no pump I was a bit upset. The only way to get the pump with this product is if you buy it in store... Why should that matter?

Dawn is my go-to cleaning product. I love it for dishes, but I also use it to clean my bathroom sinks, showers, tubs, and floors. It keeps everything wonderfully clean and sparkling. If extra cleaning is needed, I just add a little vinegar to my Dawn + water and it takes care of any challenging dirt or soap scum. I have ultra sensitive skin and allergies so really appreciate the excellent cleaning properties without harsh chemicals. I would also add that Dawn worked wonders when my indoor pets got fleas. I gave them a bath in Dawn and the fleas were taken care of. I also followed some online recommendation for using Dawn in the washer for bedding to ensure any fleas were killed. It called for small amounts like a tablespoon or two per load. It was a lot of work to get rid of the fleas, but the Dawn worked successfully without my having to use harsh chemicals.

I buy these by the 2-4 box so I am not running to the store when I am low or out. It is so convenient to have these on hand. I also have given to relatives in a care package during the holidays! Best gift when you cant afford a whole lot by buying single and smaller containers.

Dawn is my favorite dish washing soap and that continues to be the case. I like having this large container next to my sink, but I don't like the new pump style. The old style allowed me to use a very small amount, the new one does not. It's a bunch or none.

I purchased these to use in the grill my son owns. We go through a lot of dish detergent, and I've always loved what Dawn does to destroy grease. I (we) are disappointed in this Dawn, as it states it's "professional", which one would think would work exceptionally well on greasy restaurant dishes/pots and pans. Well, it does do that by using more of it. We are just a small operation, which means hand washing all dishes/pots and pans, and this Dawn falls short when it comes to maintaining a sudsy, grease fighting dish water. As for grease fighting, yes it does, but only when more Dawn is added directly to a greasy dish or pan (added expense). I won't be purchasing this again as it's a bit pricey for not holding up.

What can you say about a product that has always been the one that we have been able to count on to get rid of grease and it even cleans the rest of the dishes to. So unless you're not dealing with any kind of oils or grease on your dishes and the wife uses it in the laundry room and I have a big bottle or maybe two out in my shop. Great stuff and it's still reasonably priced

The Dawn Professional 1 gal being sold now is not the same as sold in previous years. It is now a watered down version of what it once was a very good product. Paying the same price but getting less seems to be the new standard these days regardless of where we shop. Are the manufacturers acting alone or are the retailers leaning on the manufacturers to cut quality in order to costs. The consumer loses again.
