It tastes really salty.

We love this sauce, because it is not super think and gloppy like so many others. I doesn't have an odd canned weird cheese flavor either. We use this for Alfredo, sauce, for chicken dishes, upscale mac and cheese....lots of different kinds of dishes. The price is the best you will find anywhere.
