I'm a fan of homemade sauce with real ingredients and trying to watch my sugar consumption. I tried it with my higher-protein chickpea pasta. Which I've bought before but hated its texture, along with cottage cheese and parmesan. I was so pleasantly surprised! I loved the flavor and I wanted to have more. Unfortunately, this is all I packed for lunch. It transformed into a creamy delicious mix. Definitely a lunch staple that will be on repeat going forward.

He will usually eat pasta sauce “if he has to”, but we used this sauce to make calzones AND to dip once cooked, and he actually went back for more! Personally, I found that is was very fresh tasting and rich (you could spice it up if needed, but it was great as-is). Definitely recommend!

All you need to do is brown your favorite meat veggies, and add a little seasoning and it’s like magic in a pot. All you have to do is add noodles and you are good to go. The Ragu has a mild flavor that allows you to customize or eat just as is. My Family loves to keep jars of this pasta sauce in the cabinet as it is so versatile and allows anyone in the house to make easy meals. My kid also likes to use this sauce instead of marinara for pizza sauce. So while it may not be the homemade sauce, you’re used to your Nona making this is a great option for quick and easy dinners that will taste delicious.

Protein and veggies as desired and it’s a one pot meal! The sauce has a strong tomato flavor. It is a great base to start from and add spices to make it your own.
