[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pasta sauce is very tasty. I use it in a variety of pasta dishes and I will also use it to make chicken parmesan. It has the right amount of spices and seasonings to provide a great base for many dishes. I will add more spices depending on the dish, but as a base sauce, it is perfect.

My wife and I used to love the original recipe. We do not like the new recipe with more olive oil. It is "over spiced" and has totally changed the flavor. I used to use the Traditional recipe in many of my Italian dishes and now I will not. Many of your customers are not pleased with this change. Please bring back the original recipe. It's very thick and tasty , I use this sauce as a starter and add garlic, onion, peppers, and sausage to it to make it more substantial and for my particular taste. It is perfectly fine just by itself if I want to go simpler and quick and easy. This is always my first choice in pasta sauce.I do recommend.

When I first tried Ragú sauce as a child, I enjoyed it a lot. Now due to that, I've only eaten exclusively this sauce since then. But as of last week (this review was written on July 5, 2023), the sauce has begun to taste like Lunchables' pizza sauce. I have no clue what happened, as beforehand the sauce was perfectly fine. PLEASE CHANGE THE SAUCE BACK.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I grew up eating this sauce at least once a week, it had been a good 15 years since I tried Ragu. Premium sauces like Raos are not currently in the budget, so I decided to give an old classic another try. I had remembered the texture being completely smooth and tasting a little sweet, but it actually has discernible onions without being “chunky” and isn’t sweet at all. You won’t fool anyone into thinking this is a sauce made from scratch, but the taste was overall very good and would complement any pasta. I didn’t feel the need to add any additional seasonings. Now that I’m a mom myself, I’ll keep a jar in the pantry for a quick dinner just as my mom did. It’s easily the best sauce I’ve tasted in its price range.

Ragu, how could you have done this to us? In the past my family has bought so many jars of traditional sauce we could have probably wrapped them around earth. But sadly, never again. Earlier this year we had spaghetti and it tasted awful. Little did we know that you changed your recipe for the worse. During a pandemic we were scouring every last grocery store to find the last bottles of original formula. But they are all gone. Sadly, now we are searching desperately for an alternative with your competitors. If you ever decide to change back, let use know.
