It was a crowd pleaser for kids and adults alike, and we even leftovers for the next day. It’s very versatile, you can use it alone or mixed with other things.

First, I’m glad you can read the ingredients and that it’s not too chemical laden for a bottled sauce. I also like the savory flavor and it was a perfect complement to garlic turkey sausage I bought at the farmer’s market. I made a quick meat sauce that I served over spinach ravioli for a low effort and delicious lunch.

I bought two 3-packs on Instant Savings because the price per ounce is unbeatable. The sauce is rather bland, but I always doctor it up with onion and garlic powder, oregano and basil. Other times I just add a bottle of Newman's Own Sacarooni sauce or sometimes a bottle of Prego instead. The Ragu cuts down on the Prego overly sweetness. One mistaken climate freak urged no one to buy it because the yellow tab holding the 3 bottles was too thick to cut through. I guess she doesn't know that all you have to do is pull each jar from the bottom out of the triple holder and then recycle the holder.
