It goes great with pasta, meatballs and as a dipping sauce. We have used it for many items and it has paired perfectly with all of them. My kids like that it has a more mild flavor than other sauces. They prefer Ragu! I love that it is so versatile, tastes great and that my kids love it!

I appreciate that Ragu has utilized olive oil in their formula. We typically prefer sauce that has more depth to flavor and I was hoping that this sauce would have that. We made whole wheat spaghetti noodles and used the Ragu with our typical organic ground beef. Our children were happy and said they liked it, but that it wasn't their favorite. I was a little disappointed and felt that the olive oil didn't add to the taste or texture of the sauce. I think we'll stick with our go-to sauce in the future.

Ragu spaghetti sauces have been the only brand of spaghetti sauce our family has used for the better part of 40 years. Over the last few months, our entire family has commented that something does not seem right with the flavor and body of the meals prepared with Ragu. The flavors are not as deep and the eating dishes appear to have more liquid left. I finally did a general internet search to see if it was just our family who was noticing this. Guess what Ragu, we aren't the only ones. Looks like you have changed something and it has a lot of your customers upset. Our family have made the decision this evening to no longer purchase Ragu products.

Her mom taught me how simple it was to make, so I felt like I had become the spaghetti-making master… turns out Ragu is just that good! Any time I make spaghetti without Ragu, it just isn’t the same. All of the flavors are delicious, even the ones I don’t usually like from other brands.

Saute a handful of onions, chopped green peppers, and even some zucchini, and squash, but do the saute with garlic, a little thyme, and some oregano, then mix in the red sauce, serve meatballs on the side, with spaghetti, of course! just need some garlic bread to have everyone's favorite Italian meal. Or, make a meatloaf, about 10 minutes before it's done pour some of the red sauce on top, sprinkle some chopped parsley on top of that when it comes out, it looks a lot more elegant than just meatloaf... Or, start your hamburgers on slow heat in an extra large skillet, then add some chopped onion when there is enough fat from the burgers, put them right into the fat, put black pepper across the whole thing, and put on the top, when it is time, turn the meat and pour some of the ragu sauce, put a little water if it needs it, when the whole thing is ready you have burgers that you can serve on a plate without adding salt or bread or stuff... so all three of these little mini-recipes are pretty healthy and super simple because the ragu sauce is majorly convenient. My friend uses it to make sloppy joes, I just don't know how she does it. The point of all this is that we could make the spaghetti sauce ourselves, but it takes a long time, or we could use the ragu and add different kinds of spices to add variety, the product is very heat co-operative and convenient.
