I have been buying Ragu Spaghetti sauce with Meat for years - I've been married for 52 years and used it for nearly that long. I didn't realize that it had changed until was looking for find out if the sauce was GLUTEN FREE. When I read the other reviews it was then that I did realize that it was different. I have always used Ragu as a base and then added minced onion, basil, and oregano to make it to our taste. I don't think that your new recipe is awful, but it does change the taste of what we are used to eating. I, too, would ask that you give us a choice and bring back the old sauce so we can do what we want to it to make it palatable for our families. Thank you.

It is a pretty basic flavor-just what I would expect from a jarred pasta sauce. I used it in recipes and my kids enjoyed it. The flavor mixes well in pasta dishes and is not overpowering. If you prefer a highly flavorful sauce, you can add your own ingredients. I liked that I could use this and it was mild enough my kids would eat it and it worked exactly as I hoped it would.

The sauce is a little thin, but a little pasta water thickens it perfectly. Its not acidic and a little sweet and savory, but not spicy. If I want a little heat I add in some red pepper but otherwise I rarely doctor it up, overall a crowd pleaser

I use it as a base and then add more stuff in it to my taste—grated garlic, some celery and carrots, maybe some capers. Added some red wine, too! It’s not too thick or thin of a sauce, so you can build it up or down. There aren’t any particularly overwhelming flavors. Packaging is fine—nothing bad, nothing good in my opinion.

I really like the Alfredo sauce from Ragu. The flavor is great and the consistency is perfect. The only thing I'd change is to add Parmesan cheese and a tad more seasoning. It's not a deal breaker for me since I have both at hone that I can use. I loved using the Alfredo in chicken Alfredo. My family loved it!
