[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this ragu sauce at my local supermarket last month. And the kids love the taste of the Ragu sauce. Also it was easy to cook and heat up with my beef hamburger. It also made great leftovers for my lunches

I was dismayed when I discovered that Ragu had changed it's Traditional Style sauce last year. I have a significant garlic sensitivity and the new recipe has more garlic in it and I can no longer eat it. At that time I was happy to find that Ragu sauce with meat was unchanged, that is until recently when I discovered that the meat sauce recipe has more garlic now too. This is the only spaghetti sauce I have purchased for over 30 years and unfortunately I will no longer be buying it unless the company offers it's original recipe once again. There are a lot of people such as myself who have a sensitivity to garlic and it is a shame that Ragu will no longer meet our needs.

I have purchased Ragu Traditional for years. I bought the new with Olive Oil because that was the only one offered on the grocery shelf. I served it and my husband asked me what did I do different. He said it tasted different but not in a good way. I agree, it is not the same flavor. I'm not sure I'll buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Welp. I typically have used a generic off brand of sauce in the last and I won’t even be dramatic when saying this has changed my spaghetti world! Yum! Delicious! It’s like a great quality sauce with perfect flavor and brings back all the feels as we sat around my Great grandmothers table and shared a big pot of pasta! Great taste Ragu and wonderful quality! Highly recommend giving this sauce a try if you haven’t yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like Ragu. The only issue I’ve ever had with it is that it’s not a very thick sauce and I will normally cook it with meat. The taste is good though. We have some type of pasta at least twice a week.

I have used this sauce for 39 years always loved it but now that you have changed it ,it does not taste the same. There is hardly any flavor no rich tomato taste like before. It also leaves a funny taste in your mouth. I beg of you to go back to the original recipe. I am forced now to try other sauces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The secret ingredient for sloppy eggplant! My mom used this sauce with eggplant when we were growing up and nothing else can match it. Ragu is super underrated, but for certain dishes, it just works. Try my mom's eggplant recipe: Peel and slice eggplant in 1inch thick wheels, pan sear with some oil. Once soft, transfer to a deep dish baking pan. Add original ragu sauce, chopped onions, and chopped green bell peppers. For added spice, add some chili and paprika powder. Top with mozzarella cheese, bake at 450 for about 25min with foil covering the pan. Uncover, stir everything together, and in the oven for another 5min. Serve on rolls! Only reason I would take a star away is its not he healthiest of sauces (sugar and preservatives)

My mother always used Ragu flavored with meat, I have in the 30 years since I moved out, that was until this year. I purchased some and did t think anything of the olive Oil comment, until I made sauce and put hamburger in it, and had to dump it all out. I now use Prego. Ever heard of the saying, don’t fix what isn’t broken? Someone is going to lose their job over this!
