We've been eating Ragu since it came out many years ago. After trying many other sauces over the years Ragu traditional meat flavored remained our favorite. Now since it changed we don't care for it anymore. The taste that made it Ragu is gone and it tastes generic like a store brand sauce. REALLY wish you would have left it alone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used my Traditional Ragu in my favorite spaghetti recipe. What a big difference !!!! The sauce was rich and traditional. It stayed on the noodles better than other brands. The delicious richness and tomato flavor is definitely right up there with homemade.

The new recipe is absolutely AWFUL. We eat spaghetti once a week and it is ALWAYS with this Ragu sauce. My poor husband thought I was playing a prank on him after the very first bite. He and my son have always LOVED this sauce but could barely make a couple of bites at dinner. I've never been a Ragu fan, but always eat it because they love it. This sauce is really, really atrocious now - we couldn't even choke it down (even with me trying to fix it on the stove with seasonings). Why change the "Original" recipe instead of making a new sauce? And how did this make it out of the test kitchen?!? I agree with other reviewers, I have a hard time believing the only change is olive oil. This sauce is truly terrible now and my family has already proclaimed an end to spaghetti night.

I used it on ravioli and then later in the week mixed it with my own sauce to make baked ziti. I will say it’s nothing special, but it is convenient to have.

I got the traditional sauce so I could add more flavorful ingredients to the pasta. The sauce had a nice light flavor and 1 jar was perfect for 3/4 of a box of spaghetti (we like our pasta more saucy). The whole family, including my 2 1/2 and 6 year old, enjoyed it!

I decided I would not buy this product again, I have tried over and over but it has changed and there seems to be a lot of water, when you use it for pasta dishes, or other dishes I have prepared. Very disappointed as it was always one of my go to sauces.
