Ragu traditional was the ONLY sauce I would buy. I grew up on it and LOVED it for at least 40 years. For some reason the company changed it, maybe cost cuts? Who knows. But it's now a disgrace. An abomination. Please, please, please bring back the original!!!!!!!! Have a heart, we have been loyal customers, please don't do this!!!!!!!!

This sauce is delicious! My family is very picky when it comes to sauces one likes it chunky, one likes it smooth but Ragu is the perfect in between to make everyone happy! I especially love that it contains full servings of vegetables since I my picky eaters refuse to eat many! I am a happy customer!

I tried to make my mother's and grandmother's spaghetti sauce recipe recently using Ragu Traditional just as they did many years ago. However, I immediately noticed a significant change of taste when I sampled the opened jar. This "new" taste is terrible compared to the excellent taste Ragu Traditional used to have. I will have to look for another brand as a substitute. Why would you ruin the flavor of a sauce people have loved for decades. It's just like when Cica Cola changed their recipe, people quit buying it. Learn a lesson from them and bring back the original flavor just like Coca Cola ended up doing. Why try to fix something if it isn't broken?

I haven't had Ragu for several years and bought some last week. First thing I noticed is it seemed a bit off compared to how I remembered it in the past. I bought a 2nd bottle a week later and noticed the same thing with it. Today while talking on the phone to my brother he asked me out of the blue if I thought Ragu changed their recipe. I said yes, but couldn't pin point just how. Well he did. Ragu used to have a bit of sugar in it and this new recipe does not and therefore it's more tart. Tomato sauce products (even pizza sauce) always taste better when a little bit of sugar is added to take out the tartness. IDK why Ragu decided to go with a more tart flavor now, but it's not an improvement. Maybe they saved $.01 per bottle removing sugar. Also this new recipe is more watery. You will literally have water in your spaghetti sauce as you're eating it. So this is not "new and improved" by any means.

I have been using this sauce for my pasta dishes for 20+ years! My grandmother used it, my mom used it, and now I use it. I am in love with the flavor of this sauce! I've tried other brands a couple times only to be disappointed and to run right back to my tried and true favorite! I love making my own ground beef with fresh garlic and salt and pepper and adding it to the sauce. It's delicious!!!

I have bought Ragu traditional for thirty years. It was always my go to sauce. The new recipe just ruined dinner for me. My husband absolutely hated it. Then I looked at the jar and saw new and improved recipe. Not in our book. Very disappointing. I'm not sure if you added more garlic but it tastes awful.

I used to eat Ragu Traditional daily (and I mean daily). Please, please bring back the original recipe. I have been anxiously awaiting its return since you changed it in 2020. I have been checking the site weekly, hoping that it will have changed back.
