[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pasta sauce staple. The texture is smooth and you can use it for pasta or pizza. I like that it is a glass jar not a plastic one. My only issue is that I like more seasoning in my sauce so I added some more. But overall great!

I grew up on Ragu. It's the best. I buy other more expensive spaghetti sauces thinking they'll be better because they are triple the price of Ragu, or they look "fancy", but I always go back to Ragu. Why? Because it's got a smooth texture, not watery or chunky (unless you buy the one with texture on purpose), just thick enough to stick to your pasta. It has a great, rich flavor. If you want to switch it up, it holds up well to fresh basil or onions chopped in. The addition of olive oil to the recipe is nice, and you can actually taste it.

It goes great with pasta, meatballs and as a dipping sauce. We have used it for many items and it has paired perfectly with all of them. My kids like that it has a more mild flavor than other sauces. They prefer Ragu! I love that it is so versatile, tastes great and that my kids love it!

I am not the biggest pasta fan...But everyone in my house is. When given the opportunity to try a different brand, They were all a bit apprehensive. The sauce was good! Flavorful and better than we expected. We will definitely be adding it to our grocery list from now on!

When I got married in 1973, my Mom's neighbor gave me her family recipe for Eggplant Parmesan. The recipe called specifically for Ragu Sauce. It became a favorite in my family. When my kids grew up and moved out on their own, they asked for the recipe so they could make it in their own homes. We all noticed the change in taste and texture of the sauce and do not like it. We no longer make our special Eggplant Parmesan because it just doesn't taste the same. Please bring back the old recipe!
