I've been eating traditional Ragu since I was a kid (I'm 53 now). This is horrific. It has a sharp, acid flavor, more like a tomato soup then a slow cooked sauce. I've judged every sauce I've ever made or tried against the old style Ragu, I loved that flavor. This is how you kill a brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I personally am not a huge fan of Ragu. But this pasta sauce was actually really good. Paired with simple spaghetti noodle and some ground meat. Or even over some breaded chicken on a bead of pasts would be real nice with this sauce.

Agree with other reviews . The reason I am on here is I have noticed a change for the worse in the old world style sauce recipe. It's way too sweet and kind of tart. Why mess with a good thing. My family has used ragu for decades. I may actually need to find a new one if this doesn't change back.

Ragu’s Old World Style Traditional Sauce has that rich, familiar flavor that feels like home. I used it for a quick pasta night with the family, and everyone went back for seconds (and that’s saying something in this house!). It’s smooth, not too sweet, and has just the right blend of Italian herbs. I love that it’s made with olive oil and vine ripened tomatoes, simple, no frills goodness. I used to get this sauce in 32 oz size. Now the sizes have changed.. 24 oz not enough..45 oz too much! I end up wasting it because the sizes no longer work for my recipes. Guess I'm switching to another brand. Bad idea on the company's part. You lose my business. I don't have $ to throw away.

Never again. I have bought this since the late 1960's. The only sauce my children would eat. Why did you change something that was not broken! The olive oil changed the taste which no one in my family likes. I guess I will be hunting for new, old stock and then trying a new brand!

The olive oil changed the entire profile of a sauce I have supported exclusively for decades. This is one old dog who doesn’t like your new trick. Won’t buy more but will watch for the return of your old recipe. This is a Ragu pandemic I hope to survive.
