[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [l received this product in exchange for my honest review] this sauce is one of my favorites! the ingredients are reliable, the texture isn’t too runny or too thick. it pairs well with a multitude of different pasta dishes (personally love using this for lasagna) & the packaging makes it small enough to fit in a tightly packed pantry.

The sauce is absolutely horrid. When they changed and added the olive oil to the recipe it taste like the sauce has gone bad. Please go back to the old recipe. Can someone suggest another brand of sauce that is comparable. I didn't really like Prego either.

My entire family is picky about tomato sauce, so I was very interested to try this one. I made a meal that we often have, but swapped out our normal sauce for this one. Right off the bat, it smelled incredible. The beautiful aroma of tomatoes and onions hit me upon opening the jar and my mouth already started to water. While cooking, our kitchen smelled heavenly. Once our meal of spaghetti and meatballs was ready to eat, I quickly got everyone's plates ready and dug in. The smooth texture of the sauce was surprising, because I usually use a chunky sauce. It was different, but I liked it. The first flavor I got was tomato, which was vibrant and bold. Next, I got all the other Italian flavors. I could almost taste them individually, which made me feel like I was eating a home made sauce. Overall, we liked this sauce. The flavors are great and gives you so much more than a typical jarred sauce gives you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ragu brand is one of our go to sauces for our spaghetti nights as it never disappoints. The traditional sauce is simple, yet flavorful. One jar can cover half of a standard size box of spaghetti noodles with a nice even coating.

I have bought Ragu traditional for thirty years. It was always my go to sauce. The new recipe just ruined dinner for me. My husband absolutely hated it. Then I looked at the jar and saw new and improved recipe. Not in our book. Very disappointing. I'm not sure if you added more garlic but it tastes awful.

Good for people who do not use extra ingredients. I still use extras for more flavor but this is great for new cooks.

This new version with olive oil is awful with a strong aftertaste. Please add the previous version to your selection of products - call it Classic Ragu or something. There are so many options already, why not one more that was enjoyed for years? I no longer purchase Ragu and have several friends and family members that feel the same.

I have bought this sauce for over 15 years and will no longer buy due to the new recipe with olive oil. I will have to find another brand and during this pandemic it is very difficult to shop. Please bring back the old traditional flavor without olive oil.

Now taste wise they're very close but the amount of time it saves me is priceless. The sauce brings a delicious and wonderful depth to my pasta. Saves times and tastes great look forward to trying more recipes with this sauce.
