I have used this sauce for 39 years always loved it but now that you have changed it ,it does not taste the same. There is hardly any flavor no rich tomato taste like before. It also leaves a funny taste in your mouth. I beg of you to go back to the original recipe. I am forced now to try other sauces.

The new recipe is absolutely AWFUL. We eat spaghetti once a week and it is ALWAYS with this Ragu sauce. My poor husband thought I was playing a prank on him after the very first bite. He and my son have always LOVED this sauce but could barely make a couple of bites at dinner. I've never been a Ragu fan, but always eat it because they love it. This sauce is really, really atrocious now - we couldn't even choke it down (even with me trying to fix it on the stove with seasonings). Why change the "Original" recipe instead of making a new sauce? And how did this make it out of the test kitchen?!? I agree with other reviewers, I have a hard time believing the only change is olive oil. This sauce is truly terrible now and my family has already proclaimed an end to spaghetti night.

It is a very versatile sauce, that can be used from pasta to pizzas, and it has a great consistency, not too thick or watery. The only downside for me is that the source itself comes a bit bland, but you can always add a seasoning of your choice. Overall, a great sauce!

I am happy with my current spaghetti sauce but always looking to try new sauces. Ragu's Old World Style Traditional sauce had a decent flavor but I was not in love with it. It almost had a bitter aftertaste. I would probably not try it again for that price.

I really like the taste of Ravi and love the convenience of not having to make my own. It has a really good taste and you get a perfect amount to use for a meal. I love all the varieties and of course the price is great. I would highly recommend this for any kind of Italian cooking if you are in a hurry and need a backup because you can't make homemade.
