Flavor it more if i want to make it more of my own sauce. I only wish it was maybe an organic product, but otherwise, good stuff!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ragú Old World Style Traditional Sauce is incredible!! I love how the flavors of the tomato and the olive oil are so heighted! The ingredients are very clean, and the taste is really unparalleled. I like how smooth it is, and it's not too watery or two textured, so I really like how it goes with spaghetti, or to use with meatballs, or any other type of dish that you might want to do. It worked very great for me as a base and then I started adding more condiments and meat to it and it really came together perfectly so I will definitely add this to my grocery list.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part these days I am a from scratch cook. I grow and can my own tomatoes and rarely have need for a jarred sauce. I had this jar hanging out in my pantry waiting on a day when I was pressed for time, and that day came up this week. Let me tell you, from the first bite I was transported back to childhood and my mother's kitchen. She cooked a lot, but didn't make her own sauce, and Ragu was a staple. It tastes just as good now as I remember as a kid. Perfectly seasoned, nice consistency, and sticks well to noodles. Even though I make most of my sauces from scratch I think I'm going to start keeping a jar of Ragu on hand for busy nights and for when I need a little taste of my childhood!

The minute I opened the jar, I thought by the smell the sauce went bad. Yes, it smells like something has gone rotten or rancid. I was able to work with it making my meat sauce for my baked ziti because of the meat and spices added and all the cheese. But it will never stand on its own. The taste is off-putting. I don't understand why the recipe was changed. This and the marinara are always the first ones off the shelves and disappear for holidays, when bad weather is coming or any time really. Sorry, this new formula... it's just that bad.

I've always loved ragu brand - the price is comparable to others, the quality is second to none - and its just overall a great bang for your buck. I loved how they incorporated olive oil. It gave it a special flavor that was hard to put into words. It tastes more authentic, a reminder of homemade sauce. Well done Ragu!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pasta sauce is delicious, I have tried many Ragu pasta and pizza sauces and mostly are not disappointing. This one is on the top three, it’s not sweet it got the right amount of salt and spices that makes it super satisfying. I highly recommend getting some and try it for your self.

The traditional was the only spaghetti sauce that my husband liked, but then you changed it and added the extra olive oil and he says it tastes like oregano. OMG, he still hasn't gotten over it and he glares at your products on the pasta aisle, as we search for a new sauce. I just find that the new version is not as adaptable to different recipes as the old version.

I loved this Ragu! Now that I am home so much due to Covid, and trying to eat on a budget, there has been a lot of pasta around my house. I really enjoyed being able to make some pasta with this awesome sauce. The jar is easy to use and looks attractive, and the sauce tastes amazing. Ragu has a sweetness to it unlike any other sauce. There is also a hearty-ness feeling to it. The tomato flavor bursts through.

It tastes amazing with any pasta dish I make. We used it this past week for our meatballs and penne pasta and it was delicious!
