[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sauce was a solid choice- it wasn’t too robust so my toddler absolutely loved it. A good classic spaghetti sauce choice. Packaging was convenient and easy to open/use. The sauce went a long way and generously coated an entire bag of noodles.

Old world traditional sauce is really great...I use it as a base and doctor it up with lots of chunky green pepper, mushrooms, onions, garlic, and very lean ground meat...and most times add an extra can of diced tomatoes . Makes a great healthy and tasty sauce. My husband is diabetic so we try to avoid foods with added sugar. Tomatoes have their own natural sugar...This sauce itself has less than a gram of added sugar with 3 grams of fiber and only 60 calories a 1/2 cup. PS: Eating high fiber 28-30 gms/day and no added sugar foods will help a lot to lose weight over time and not be hungry while you're making a lifestyle change in eating habits.

Have used the Traditional sauce my entire life but now I'm going to have to find something else. The "improved" version with olive oil tastes mostly of garlic and has a weird, almost burned flavor. Way too much garlic and not enough good flavor. Not sure we can even finish eating what I'd made with it tonight. Very disappointing. This was a waste of money.

I made a ground chicken and sausage with tiny shell pasta and it came out so very flavorful and the texture was smooth and just right. It came in a box wrapped in cardboard and had bubble wrap to insure I got it in one piece.
