Well, this was nice and smooth without. There was no over powering garlic taste which is sometimes found in pasta sauce.

It's hard to come across a really tasty and authentic sauce. This one was really good. I love the addition of olive oil in the ingredients, it gives it a fresh taste that sends the pasta over the moon. My picky eater husband and finicky eating son demolished their plates. I really enjoyed this pasta sauce, and that is as someone who typically makes their own pasta sauce from scratch. This had a made from scratch taste; seriously tasted like it had been slow cooking for hours. It was rich and I could taste the onions and tomatoes and olive oil. Also, it wasn't chunky or gunky, but really smooth which my child with texture issues really enjoyed. Overall we really liked it and would buy it.

My family and I have been loyal consumers of Ragu Traditional sauce for decades but the new "recipe" with olive oil does have an after taste which ruins the delicious overall taste of this sauce. I have tried other brands every once in a great while over the decades but always go right back to Ragu Traditional. Unfortunately if the original "recipe" isn't going to be available, we're going to move to a different brand. Please bring back the original without the olive oil or at least make both available.
