We had spaghetti last night and used the "new recipe" traditional spaghetti sauce. We all agreed the new recipe is terrible. PLEASE give us the original version again, as we will not buy this "new recipe" sauce again. This was so bad the dog wouldn't even eat it!

The flavor is rich and savory, with just the right balance of herbs and tomato. I love that it’s made with olive oil it gives it a smooth, home cooked taste. The texture is perfect for coating pasta, and it doesn’t feel watery or too thick. It’s super versatile too I’ve used it for spaghetti, lasagna, and even as a base for homemade pizza. The packaging is sturdy and easy to open, which I appreciate. For a store bought sauce, it tastes surprisingly close to homemade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ragu sauce is a nice basic budget sauce that can easily be dressed up. Add meat, cheese, spices, garlic, etc and you can really soup it up. Pair it with a simple salad and some garlic bread and you have a nice dinner on the cheap.

The recipe has changed :(. I have been buying the original traditional sauce for so many years. This is the only Ragu sauce i buy. The flavor was great. I made my baked ziti last night and it was horrible. i wasted ricotta, mozzarella. I will not be making baked ziti anymore either. i will have to let my family know not to purchase this any longer.
