Shrink wrap in a egg carton in a box? Ok! I like the Ragu Old World sauce. I have grown up eating the brand with my choices of pasta. Very nostalgic. It's not too tart or sugary. Love it.

I always buy the Ragu Old World Style Traditional Sauce but never again. The new recipe with the olive oil does not have the rich tomato taste it had in the old recipe. I am so disappointed but I only taste the olive oil. I have used this Ragu brand for years and now I will be changing to a totally new brand of sauce. I wish I had an option to buy the original recipe again.

I tasted it on its own before adding anything to it, and it wouldn’t be my first choice for a quick sauce. Flavor was lacking overall so I added a bunch of things to round the taste out. I also had to thicken it because it’s too thin for my liking. I think this sauce will do well as the base for a homemade pizza but I personally wanted more for a pasta sauce.
